serving the people of Alabama as an Assistant Attorney General, Steve
Dodd has devoted the last 17 years in the Criminal Appeals Division
of the Alabama Attorney General's Office. Steve is convinced that
this extensive experience -- and his devotion to justice in criminal
cases -- has prepared him for the position of Associate Justice in the
Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals.
Born and raised in Arab, Alabama, Steve earned his Bachelors degree at the University of Alabama. He went on to attend the University of Alabama School of Law where he earned his law degree in 1982. After completing law school, Steve was asked to serve as the Assistant Legal Advisor to Gov. George C. Wallace. Later he became involved as a campaign staff member in a number of governor's races during the 1980s including Bill Baxley and Gov. Wallace. learn more >> |
